Euroclear Partners with Meritsoft & Taskize to Launch AI-Powered Settlement Platform

Euroclear has unveiled EasyFocus+, an enhanced AI-driven platform developed in collaboration with Meritsoft (a Cognizant subsidiary) and Taskize. The solution leverages Microsoft's cloud infrastructure to provide real-time settlement analytics across Euroclear's Central Securities Depositories, which handle over 60% of EU transactions.

The platform integrates predictive analytics for mismatch resolution ahead of Europe's transition to T+1 settlement by 2027. By combining Meritsoft's Instruction Tracking system with Taskize's collaboration tools, EasyFocus+ delivers a unified view of settlement workflows - a strategic MOVE to reduce fragmentation in Europe's post-trade infrastructure.

This initiative aligns with both Euroclear's efficiency goals and the EU's broader ambitions for a harmonized Savings and Investments Union. The AI capabilities focus on preemptively identifying settlement exceptions while accelerating root cause analysis, potentially reducing fails in Europe's €100+ trillion securities settlement market.
